HPEF’s NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR talks 2024 Gala and Year of the Sciences

HPEF’s new Executive Director, Allison Strobel, talks to Peter B of The Pulse about the 2024 Gala and plans for taking the foundation to the next level. Also discussed is the upcoming Year of the Sciences in the Hoboken Public School District. Funds raised at the seventh annual Gala will be used for science-based field trips, fun and engaging classroom activities, science challenges and lab exhibitions, and science-based mentoring opportunities for high school students.

 

HPEF Raises almost $400,000 at Seventh Annual Gala

Hoboken, NJ | May 1, 2024 – The Hoboken Public Education Foundation (HPEF) held its seventh Annual Gala on Thursday, April 25, bringing together more than 500 supporters united by their passion for the Hoboken Public School District (HPSD). Attendees included parents, elected officials, educators and business leaders who gathered at the W Hoboken to celebrate and bolster the foundation's mission of elevating and enhancing the Hoboken Public Schools.

 

Allison Strobel Appointed Inaugural Executive Director of HPEF

HOBOKEN, NJ |April 9, 2024 – The Hoboken Public Education Foundation (HPEF) proudly announces the appointment of Allison Strobel as its inaugural Executive Director. With over a decade of nonprofit and public sector leadership experience, Strobel is poised to lead HPEF into its next chapter of growth and community impact.

HPEF, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) established in 2015, is dedicated to enhancing the public education experience for all students in the district through private funding.
